MGG Metran is the non-ferrous metals recycling company of Müller-Guttenbrunn in Austria.
MGG Metran treats non-ferrous shredder residues and non-ferrous metal mixtures to become concentrates for further treatment in specialized smelting plants. Separating the shredder residues, the non-ferrous mixtures – also from E-Waste fractions – as well as slags and metal packaging material mixtures, is based upon a clever combination of physical separation techniques. The intelligence of finding the best combination of these separation techniques forms the core of the MGG Metran “recycling kitchen” – a “recipe” of physical separation processes is chosen for the best
possible material recovery results, whereby the recovery of precious metals is a key element. MGG Metran is investing continuously additional or complementing separation techniques to offer the best of available technologies for the large variety of materials. The used techniques vary from dry over wet separation processes, in combinations of sieving, jigging, grinding, magnetic as well as sensor based techniques.
The gained knowledge and experience of MGG Metran attracts material from large parts of Europe.
