On 8 and 9 October 2015, the Industrial Chamber of Lower Austrian will be organizing “open days” in cooperation with many industrial enterprises in the entire state of this Austrian State.
The Müller-Guttenbrunn Group will participate in this information exchange campaign with the three of the sites, namely Metall Recycling Mü-Gu in Amstetten and Metran and MBA Polymers in Kematen/Ybbs. The gates open for the MGG business partners, the neighbours and the public at large on Thursday October 8th from 9:00 to 17:00 hr. and Friday October 9th from 9:00 to 13:00 hr.
„Transparency and information about what we do, how we work and what sets us apart as a leading recycling company, I have a matter of the heart. Such open days offer us the chance to show our capabilities in terms of environmentally relevant activities, not only our business customers and suppliers but also the local population. And above all how much innovation has taken place to develop our know-how to contribute to shape the “circular economy”, through which our environment is preserved sustainably. Our recycling activities contribute save approximately 1 million tons of CO2 compared to the production of metals from ores. That is more than the CO2 emissions of the entire population of the district of Amstetten. It is often underestimated now environmentally-friendly the activity of the metal recycling industry is in reality“, says CEO Mag. Christian Müller-Guttenbrunn about his motives to participate at this event.
High-end metal recycling first hand….
The Müller-Guttenbrunn Group thus presents itself on Thursday, October 8, all day and on Friday, October 9 in the morning. Business customers and the Mostviertler population will be welcomed by short films and a drink in each of the locations, before a tour over the site premises takes place to see and experience the recycling process „first hand“.
„Of course it is about image building, but we also want to continue our direct communication with the people in our region. We open our doors to show that we have more than just regional relevance and importance and we are proud to show what the huge innovations to explain about the CO2 savings and to display the positive environmental impact of our activities.“ says Mag.
