E-Waste contains in average some 20 % of plastics, most of which are 3 types of plastics – see graph. Recycling these plastics is of vital importance to reach the targeted recycling quota for E-Waste. MGG Metran and MGG Polymers are both processing shredder residues from E-Waste processing. After the last remaining metals are removed from these E-Waste fractions, MGG Polymers separates the individual polymers into pure flakes and these are extruded and compounded into REACH and RoHS compliant Post-Consumer Recycled plastics.
