The yard of 2.7 hectares (almost 5 acres) was used to receive and treat ferrous and non-ferrous metals. A start-team of some 21 colleagues managed to handle and treat 13.000 MT’s of material with the help of 2 trucks some 5 handling machines and 1 shear.
Over the years numerous investments were made in new machinery and the largest investment without any doubt was the installation of a 1250 HP strong shedder installation.
Furthermore investments were made in the treatment of some of the non-ferrous materials. Quite some of the remaining non-ferrous materials are handled in the Austrian sister company Metran.
Meanwhile the Mü-Gu kft. team grew to some 60 colleagues.
A truckfleet of 17 large trucks and a
sourcing team ensure the sourcing of the materials for the treatment installations. A dynamic sales team is added to deal with the increased volumes that have six folded over the last 20 years.
On the day prior to the official celebration the annual meeting of international Müller-Guttenbrunn Management team took place, after which the management of all international Müller-Guttenbrunn Group companies made a hydrofoil boat trip to the Hungarian Estate of Bodor Major, where a traditional Hungarian celebration took place, including horses, carriages, Gypsy music and good food.
During the official celebration, that took place in a big party tent on the premises of Mü-Gu Kft and to which some 150 business partners were invited, a company tour was followed by a cocktail party.

and the General Manager Pálfi Róbert spoke words to look the history and the future of the company and to officially open the celebration.
